Insurance and indemnity for human clinical research

In late 2007, OSMR commissioned a study of current practices and issues in regards to insurance and indemnity for human clinical research. This is due to the severe hardening of the insurance market from 2000-2004, where researchers in NSW were finding it difficult to obtain satisfactory insurance cover for their human research activities and, in particular, malpractice insurance.

OSMR in association with Geoff Bloom & Associates have produced the following brochures to provide general information in regards to insurance and indemnity for human clinical research.
