The $10,000 NSW Office for Science and Medical Research Jamie Callachor Eureka Prize for Medical Research is designed to encourage and reward emerging medical researchers. The prize is awarded for a ground-breaking medical research project and may be awarded to an individual or to a research team. Each year, the prize focuses on and highlights a specific field of medical research which reflects Australian health priorities and medical research strengths. In 2007, the Prize will be awarded to an individual or team for outstanding cardiovascular research. For more information and details on how to enter, see the Eureka Prize website.
