NSW Cooperative Research Centres Support Grants Program

The Office for Science and Medical Research (OSMR) provides assistance to NSW applicants who are seeking funding in the current round of the Commonwealth Government’s Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) Program.

The program provides grants of up to $30,000 to assist NSW applicants to fund the preparation of their full business cases, which must form part of their stage 2 applications. The successful consortia and level of funding will be determined on a competitive basis.

This funding can be used to gain expert advice on pathways to commercialisation, industry and economic benefit, law, corporate governance, accounting and taxation. Funding can also be used to convene CRC partner forums for the purpose of application development.

OSMR will also provide coordination, information and guidance for NSW CRCs to build capacity and better leverage Commonwealth funds.

Who is eligible for funding?

Consortia seeking Commonwealth funding for either a new CRC or a new from old CRC are eligible.
Only consortia whose CRC will be headquartered in NSW are eligible for the NSW CRC Support Grants Program.
