Funding and Awards

There are a number of funding programs and awards to support science, innovation and medical research in Australia. The NSW Office for Science and Medical Research and the Department of State and Regional Development directly support the following major grant programs and prize and award schemes:

Organisations wishing to hold a conference or event in NSW are able to apply for financial support through the NSW Office for Science and Medical Research conference and event support program.

Travel scholarships are also offered to assist NSW researchers to attend selected national and international conferences.
